Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Open House about Savannah Bridge Replacement Project. A Bridge Too Far — a local grassroots campaign committed to ensuring that citizen input is considered for the Savannah River Bridge Replacement Project and that the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and the City of Savannah do not repeat the mistakes of the past by putting the bridge back in the same location — encourages Savannah-area residents and local stakeholders to attend an Open House hosted by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). This event is free and open to the public.

At the Open House, the GDOT will share information and status updates regarding potential long-term improvements for the SR 404 Spur/US 17 Bridge over the Savannah River. Attendees are invited to provide crucial feedback about the project location, design, development and potential impact on local neighborhoods and businesses.
