Reservations Now Available for the 2025 Legends, Leaders, and Life Well Lived Luncheon

Savannah, GA Senior Citizens Inc. (SCI) is proud to announce that reservations are now available for the eighth annual Legends, Leaders, and Life Well Lived Luncheon – a celebration of extraordinary individuals who have left an indelible mark on our community through leadership and service

This year’s event will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the Palmetto Club at The Landings

The luncheon will honor three remarkable individuals whose lives embody dedication, courage, and compassion:

  • Dr. Otis S. Johnson – Former Savannah mayor, educator, and lifelong advocate for civil rights and social justice;
  • Camille O’Neill – Beloved educator and community leader who has touched countless lives with her love and service;
  • John A. White, Sr. – World War II veteran and one of Savannah’s first African-American police officers, whose courage and leadership continue to inspire generations.

This event is chaired by Jenny O’Sako, partner and client advisor with Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, and is presented by the Kole Family.  The Legends, Leaders, and Life Well Lived Luncheon celebrates those who exemplify a life well lived.  This year’s event is part of a series of celebrations marking SCI’s 65th anniversary and overall mission of helping older adults in Coastal Georgia age successfully.

Individual reservations are $100, with recognition available for those who reserve seats at the Leader’s Circle level (individuals – $165, couples $330).

For those who cannot attend, sponsorship and donation opportunities are available. With each $100 donation, someone can “Honor a Legend” – recognizing someone who has made a significant impact in their life. SCI will let the honoree know of the gift and recognize them in a special social media tribute.

Seats can be reserved and donations made at www.SeniorCitizensInc.org/Legends

We thank our presenting sponsor, the Kole Family, and our additional generous sponsors: Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, Innomed, Colonial Group, Gulfstream, Queensborough National Bank & Trust, South State Bank, the Solomons Family, Georgia Ports Authority, Critz Auto Group and Georgia Power.
