Electric Moon at Plant Riverside District to Host Derby Day on the Deck on Saturday, May 6, Featuring Kentucky Derby Races, Mint Juleps, Fancy Hat and Crazy Pants Contests and More

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Plant Riverside District — which is widely known as Savannah’s Entertainment District — is pleased to host Derby Day on the Deck on Saturday, May 6 from 3 to 11 p.m. at Electric Moon, located at 400 W. River St.

Derby Day on the Deck will broadcast the Kentucky Derby on multiple TV screens and will host Fancy Hat, Crazy Pants and Best Dressed Contests, with local celebrity judges awarding a range of prizes including a one-night stay at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District, a Woodford Reserve golf bag and an official Kentucky Derby portrait.

“We’re excited to host Savannah’s most exciting Kentucky Derby Party at Electric Moon,” said Scotty Henley, Director of Entertainment at JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. “We invite everyone to join us for an epic celebration.”

Attendees age 21 and up can enjoy Woodford Reserve Mint Juleps as well as a full bar and full menu from Electric Moon throughout the afternoon and evening. DJ Lil G will spin tunes starting at 3 p.m.
